  4. TO RELIEVE WORKERS FROM INDUSTRIAL FATIGUE AND TO IMPROVE INTELLECTUAL,CULTURAL AND MATERIAL CONDITIONS OF LIVING OF THE WORKERS
  • THE CONCEPT OF EMPLOYEES/LABOUR WELFARE
  • LABOR WELFARE MEANS ANYTHING DONE FOR THE COMFORT AND IMPROVEMENT,INTELLECTUAL OR SOCIAL OF THE EMPLOYEE OVER AND ABOVE THE WAGES PAID WHICH IS NOT NECESSITY OF THE INDUSTRY.
  • ACCORDING TO ILO PUBLICATION,” WORKERS WELFARE SHOULD BE UNDERSTOOD AS MEANING WITH SERVICE FACILITIES AND AMENITIES WHICH MAY BE ESTABLISHED IN OR THE IN THE VICINITY OF UNDERTAKING TO ENABLE THE PERSONS EMPLOYED IN THEM TO PERFORM THEIR WORK IN HEALTHY AND PEACEFUL SURROUNDINGS AND TO AVAIL OF THE FACILITIES WHICH IMPROVE THEIR HEALTH AND BRING HIGH MORALE.
  • DYNAMIC CONCEPT. MODERN CONCEPT OF LABOUR WELFARE ENTAILS ALL THOSE ACTIVITIES OF THE EMPLOYER WHICH ARE DIRECTED TOWARDS PROVIDING THE EMPLOYEES WITH CERTAIN FACILITIES AND SERVICES IN ADDITION TO WAGES OR SALARIES.
